The Colebrooke Collection
As the designer behind The Colebrooke Collection, I worked closely with author Robert Elliott to bring his debut poetry anthology to life. My goal was to create a visual framework that complements Elliott’s evocative exploration of Fermanagh’s landscape and lore. The book’s layout guides readers through a journey ranging from the local history of Drumgoon Road to the mystical “Oracle of Topped Mountain”.
I curated the typography and imagery to mirror the author’s balance of gritty realism, seen in poems like “The Sertraline-Powered Robot”, and whimsical fantasy. From managing the technical ISBN specifications to the final print-ready files, I ensured this collection stands as a polished, professional tribute to contemporary Irish creative writing.
