Snapshots of the Journey
In my design for “Snapshots of the Journey” by William Newell, I focused on reflecting the book’s core message: that life is an ongoing journey filled with significant moments. I created a layout that complements the author’s narrative style using personal anecdotes, like his cherished Ford Capri or a mishap with mismatched shoes, to illustrate profound spiritual lessons.
The design incorporates stunning photography, such as the abandoned halt near Limavady and the “Fairy Glen,” to visually anchor the book’s themes of beauty, imperfection, and the creator’s hand in our everyday experiences.
My work aims to guide the reader through these “snapshots,” creating a purposeful and aesthetically beautiful experience that mirrors the author’s reflections on gratitude and faith.
