What Northern Ireland Means to Me
Designing What Northern Ireland Means to Me was a deeply rewarding process. I approached the project with a focus on clarity, respect, and visual storytelling, shaping a layout that lets each contributor’s voice breathe. The book gathers personal reflections from a wide range of people across Northern Ireland, writers, activists, artists, community workers, each exploring identity, belonging, memory, and hope.
My design work aimed to create a calm, cohesive space where these diverse stories, photographs, and perspectives could sit together naturally. Every page was crafted to honour the contributors’ words while guiding readers through a thoughtful, human portrait of Northern Ireland at a pivotal moment in its history.
