30 Ballycastle Treasures
As the designer behind 30 Ballycastle Treasures, I had the privilege of bringing this rich tapestry of local history to life through a layout that balances heritage with modern accessibility. This book, edited by Aidan McMichael, showcases thirty unique objects from the Ballycastle Museum collection, many of which are usually tucked away in storage. From ancient flint arrowheads and the medieval Bonamargy Manuscript to quirky items like a vintage tennis racquet and a “trench art” brass lighter, each page tells a story of the community’s “ups and downs” throughout the ages.
It was a joy to design a resource that finally surfaces these hidden gems for everyone to enjoy.
