King Charles presented with a copy of In the Ould Ago
2010

In 2010, King Charles was presented with a copy of In the Ould Ago by Johnny McKeagney, a richly illustrated book that captures the traditions, folklore, and way of life in rural Ireland. The book, a labor of love by McKeagney, features intricate hand-drawn sketches and detailed narratives depicting the customs and heritage of a bygone era. The presentation of the book to Prince Charles highlighted a shared appreciation for cultural preservation and historical storytelling, resonating with his own interest in heritage and conservation.
