From Mountain to Lough was designed to honour both the legacy of Matt Duggan and the cultural heritage his poetry preserves. The layout pairs clean, unobtrusive typography with generous spacing to support readability while echoing the quiet rhythm of rural life.
A palette drawn from soft earth tones and historical textures helps anchor the poems in place, reflecting landscapes, memory, and the resilience of a farming community. Each visual choice aims to frame Duggan’s voice with dignity, simplicity, and a deep sense of belonging.
