The Search For Molly
In my design work for The Search for Molly: An Irishwoman and The Great War 1914 – 1918, I focused on creating a layout that honors this poignant historical narrative. The book, written by Rosemary Henderson, lovingly charts the life of Molly McGinnis, a nurse from Faughanvale who served in France during World War One.
My contribution included the cover design and complete book layout, ensuring a professional and engaging presentation of Molly’s journey from rural Ireland to the Western Front. I integrated various illustrations, from family photographs to recruitment posters, to help bring this unique local perspective of a global emergency to life for historians and students alike.
