St Colm's High School Belfast Prospectus
Across several years of collaboration with St. Colm’s High School in Dunmurry, Belfast, I’ve had the opportunity to shape a series of prospectuses that reflect the school’s inclusive ethos, academic ambition and strong sense of community. My role has centred on creating clear, contemporary publications that communicate effectively with both parents and pupils while maintaining a warm, welcoming tone that mirrors the school’s values.
My work with St. Colm’s began in 2022, when I was tasked with designing a prospectus that captured the school’s commitment to providing a supportive, co‑educational environment. I developed a modern, accessible layout that balanced clarity with visual engagement, ensuring that key information across pastoral care, curriculum and wider school life was easy to navigate. This first publication established a visual identity that has since become a consistent thread throughout each subsequent edition.
In 2023, I continued to refine and strengthen this identity, building on the school’s dedication to academic excellence and holistic development. The design approach remained rooted in clarity and inclusivity, with careful attention to structure and flow to support the school’s messaging.
By 2024, the collaboration had evolved into a well‑established creative partnership. The prospectus that year offered an opportunity to further develop the school’s narrative visually, producing a polished, contemporary layout that highlighted St. Colm’s dynamic character. Thoughtful use of imagery, typography and pacing helped create a coherent publication that felt both informative and personable, reinforcing the school’s reputation as a nurturing and ambitious place to learn.
The 2026 prospectus continued this progression, presenting a clean, modern design that showcased the school’s vibrant community spirit. Working closely with staff, I ensured that the visual language remained consistent across all sections, from academic pathways to extracurricular life, resulting in a cohesive, engaging booklet that reflects St. Colm’s forward‑thinking approach to education.
