Pen The Pain
Designing Pen the Pain was a deeply meaningful project for me. I crafted the visual identity, layout and overall aesthetic of the book to honour its emotional depth and the voices within it. This collection brings together poetry created through the Art of Life project, exploring themes of living fully, grief, loss, memory, end‑of‑life conversations and the beauty found in everyday moments.
My design approach focused on clarity, warmth and respect, allowing each poem to breathe while creating a cohesive visual journey for the reader. It was a privilege to shape a book that holds such honesty, courage and humanity, and to support the storytellers who brought it to life.
