Rethinking Victimhood
My design role in Rethinking Victimhood: Insights from Colombia’s Special Jurisdiction for Peace focused on creating a clear, structured, and accessible visual framework that supported the report’s sensitive subject matter and analytical depth. I developed a layout that balanced academic rigour with readability, using careful typographic hierarchy, spacing, and visual rhythm to guide readers through complex findings, testimonies, and policy recommendations.
The design emphasised clarity and dignity, ensuring that key insights on gender‑based violence and transitional justice were presented with precision and respect. I also integrated Queen’s University Belfast’s visual identity to maintain consistency and professionalism throughout the publication, enhancing engagement and overall impact.
