ITALY and the ULSTER
Designing Italy and the Ulster allowed me to bring clarity, structure, and visual rhythm to David Crawford’s remarkable history of Italian motorcycle racing and its deep ties to the Ulster Grand Prix.
I approached the project with a focus on clean typography, balanced layouts, and sensitive restoration of archival photographs and memorabilia, ensuring every page supported the storytelling rather than distracting from it.
The book traces legendary riders, pioneering engineers, and iconic machines from the 1930s onward, capturing decades of passion and innovation.
My role was to shape these rich narratives into a cohesive, engaging publication that honours both the author’s knowledge and the heritage of the sport.
