A Treasure Trove of History and Lore
I designed and produced Boho Heritage: A Treasure Trove of History and Lore, shaping the book’s visual identity from the cover through to the final page. My focus was on structure, readability, and the sensitive handling of photographs, maps, illustrations, and archival material, ensuring every element supported the community’s research rather than overshadowing it.
The book captures the rich history of the Boho area in County Fermanagh, exploring its townlands, placenames, folklore, landscapes, and people. Through personal memories, historical records, and carefully considered design, it preserves local heritage in a format that is both accessible and engaging, connecting past and present for readers with ties to Boho or an interest in Irish history.
