A Treasure Trove of History and Lore
I was responsible for the design and artwork of Boho Heritage: A Treasure Trove of History and Lore, shaping the book’s visual identity from cover to final layout. My work focused on structure, readable typography, and sympathetic presentation of photographs, maps, illustrations, and archival material, ensuring the design complemented the community-driven research.
The book documents the rich history of the Boho area in County Fermanagh, exploring its townlands, placenames, folklore, landscapes, and people. Through personal memories, historical records, photographs, and stories passed down through generations, it preserves local heritage and life, creating an accessible and engaging record that connects past and present for readers with a link to Boho or an interest in Irish history.
