Reflections On Cappagh
I designed the layout for the second edition of Reflections on Cappagh: Within the Sound of the Bell, published by the Cappagh Historical Society. This comprehensive volume chronicles the rich history of the Cappagh Parish, north of Omagh, from its 9th-century ecclesiastical roots to the modern era.
My design organizes a diverse range of topics, including the Mountjoy Estate, local farming, milling, and the evolution of schools and post offices. Blending historical text with maps and community photographs, the book captures the area’s unique character, highlighting often-overlooked subjects like local music, recreation, and the impact of the Great War on this close-knit rural community.
