Devenish Townlands
In my role as a graphic designer, I provided the design and artwork for Devenish Townlands: Hectares of History and Heritage, published in June 2016. Commissioned by the Devenish Heritage Association, this book serves as a vital historical record, specifically researched to preserve the rich legacy of local townlands that were at risk of being forgotten.
My design work aims to beautifully present this collection of folklore, poems, and songs, alongside precious family memorabilia and photographs. By carefully structuring its 230 pages, from detailed townland histories to local memories, I helped create an informative and inspiring publication that ensures these unique traditions endure for future generations.
