Strule Arts Programme of Events

Strule Arts Centre sits at the heart of Omagh’s cultural life, a modern, purpose‑built venue that brings people together through performance, creativity, and community. Its programme spans theatre, music, comedy, visual arts, film, and grassroots initiatives, making it one of the region’s most important creative hubs. Working with Strule across multiple seasons has given me the opportunity to help shape how this energy is communicated to audiences, ensuring each programme feels both welcoming and distinctly rooted in the Centre’s identity.

Across the Summer 2025, Autumn 2025, and Spring 2026 seasons, I collaborated closely with the in‑house team to design a series of event booklets that reflect the vibrancy and diversity of Strule’s year‑round offering. Each edition required a careful balance of strong imagery, clear hierarchy, and accessible typography, allowing busy schedules of performances and community events to be presented in a way that feels intuitive and engaging.

For the Summer 2025 programme, I developed a cohesive 30‑page layout that showcased the breadth of the Centre’s artistic activity, from early concept development through to print‑ready artwork. Building on this foundation, the Autumn 2025 booklet refined the visual identity further, introducing a clean, structured approach that supported over three months of performances, talks, and family events. By Spring 2026, the design language had evolved into a vibrant, confident aesthetic that captured the energy of the season while maintaining consistency across pages, headers, and promotional elements.

Throughout these projects, my focus remained on audience‑centred design, creating booklets that are easy to navigate, visually engaging, and reflective of Strule’s creative spirit. The work not only strengthens the Centre’s brand presence but also supports its wider mission: to inspire creativity, celebrate local culture, and provide a shared space where the community can connect through the arts.
